What a wonderful day! It's so easy to get outside when the sun is shining and the garden is beckoning. We spent almost all day outdoors, enjoying our backyard! I marvel at what the kids sometimes come up with left to their own creative devices...today the game of choice was "crazy driver". Apparantely, this involves packing up the trunk of the play car with as many yard toys as possible, putting passengers on the roof, and having one pint-sized "crazy" driver at the wheel. This went on for about 1/2 hr or so, and I just so enjoyed hearing the squeals of laughter and delight coming from these marvelous human beings!
What crazy games have your kids come up with? Please share!!
In the spirit of playfulness,

We played "This is not a pool noodle, this is a...." in gym class today. 20 4-6 year olds riding pool noodle camels, playing pool noodle electric guitar, etc. The best was one tiny little guy walking his gigantic dog, pool noodle pointing way up in the air as the leash...amazing imagination!
ReplyDeleteMy children love to imagine that they are animals, usually of the canine variety. They are all part of a nomadic pack which lives in playsilk caves. They play this so often that my youngest learned to bark before she learned to speak.
