slowing down

This month, for me, is all about slowing down...this is usually the point at which the frantic pace of life catches up with me and I feel like a desperately need a break.  For the rest of the month, I'd like to share some images of us slowing down with intention...of enjoying the winter and enjoying our little family.
I hope you too find some time this month to slow down and savour life.
(catching snowflakes on your tongue...highly recommended!)

(oh, and a walk in the woods can't hurt either)!

  2. I'm for moments of slow at this time of year, when everything seems to gather speed. Christmas always feels like such a *deadline* here in Australia - perhaps because we have a long slow summer break which begins with Christmas.

  3. Yes. Slowing down is key to enjoyment of the season.
The addition of snow is another major factor...can you do anything about the lack of snow here in town? That would be awesome.
    I love your pictures.

  4. Look at that beautiful snow!!
So true. This time of year more than any could always use some slowing. I definitely need to do the same.
I think I'll take that walk in the woods advice!

  5. Slowing down, what a lovely thought. I would love to slow down but I am moving house (in the middle of my daughters ballet concert performances). I am the first of 4 households who are moving. Which means the other three can't move to I do. Oh well back to the packing! (love that first image, fantastic!)
